I think that?s the wrong question to ask.

The question is this: why are we, as American Christians, content to live cushy and comfortable lives while doing absolutely nothing to help out those less fortunate than us? It?s our job, as the people of God and followers of Jesus, to help the oppressed and impoverished, to seek justice in the lives of all, both here in America and in other parts of the world, like Africa.

So, we shouldn?t ask why God lets so many die in Africa from starvation or disease? but instead, we should ask why aren?t we doing anything about it? And maybe even those questions are actually one in the same.

1 John 3:17-18?"But if anyone has the world?s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God?s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."
