Total Beverage - Wine Beer Liquor Spirits Thornton Colorado ...

HEADSUP!

The Corpse Reviver cocktails are old-school ?hair of the dog? hangover cures that date back to the days of the Savoy Cocktail Handbook in the 1930s.? The plain (unnumbered) Corpse Reviver is a brandy- or Cognac-based cocktail that is a bit too heavy for food pairing, but the more popular Corpse Reviver #2 ? a light gin-and-citrus flavor combo???makes for a?perfect accompaniment to a Sunday brunch.?

The name of the drink points to its supposed effects as a hangover remedy, but at this time of year, ?Corpse Reviver? also evokes thoughts of the walking dead and apocalyptic zombies.? Not surprisingly, then, Corpse Revivers often show up as seasonal sippers at Halloween parties.? Either way, this is one classic cocktail that you should experience at some point in your life ? and this week provides a few opportunities to do just that.
