But in this exercise even if you dont use cable machine there is constant tension anyway! The movement is up and down! LOL
I avoid this exercise since it?s the movement is bad for your shoulder rotators and causes damage. Whenever I see people doing it at the gym really heavy I kind of cringe?
If you trust the medical folks instead of the gym rats you would not do that movement period.

@garcia4717 i think using cable crossover with d handles attached to each side like your going to do lateral raises but fists facing and bringing it up slightly foward but somewhat close to the body is the best way for me at least
i do these with a rope. easier on the wrists. the best way is to use a barbell, but i do these as a change of pace.
